Welcome to the latest edition of Eurosif’s newsletter.
This month brought several important developments in EU sustainable finance.
The European Parliament’s draft report on the review of the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR) was published, suggesting a number of amendments to the European Commission proposal of November 2025.
At the same time, the European Commission published its draft delegated acts for the revised European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) and the voluntary reporting standard. While key principles such as double materiality, reporting on anticipated financial effects and the “fair presentation” principle are maintained, some elements continue to raise concern for investors.
Eurosif will respond to the short consultation on these drafts and strongly encourages investors and other users of sustainability data to do the same by 3 June to ensure that key investor priorities are reflected. If you have any questions, please contact Anne Risse, Eurosif Policy and Communication Officer (anne.risse@eurosif.org).
