Post-COP17: From Nature Data to Investment Decisions

Nature is increasingly recognised as a source of financial risk and investment opportunity. For investors, the question is how to use the nature-related data already available to better understand material risks and bring these insights into investment decisions.

Following COP17, DANSIF invites members to a session with contributions from Danske Bank, TNFD, MSCI and GIST Impact on how nature-related data and frameworks can be used in practice. Through different perspectives and practical examples, the session will explore how existing data can help investors understand companies’ dependencies and impacts on nature, identify material nature-related risks, and integrate these insights into investment analysis and decision-making.

The session will also consider the bigger picture: how better use of nature data can support the ambitions of the Global Biodiversity Framework and help mobilise capital towards nature.
