Through their investments, Danish investors are connected to several businesses and business activities with actual or potential negative human rights impacts. The aim of this course is to support Danish investors in being aware of and able to act on the corporate responsibility to respect human rights as defined in the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights. The course aims to capacitate individual ESG professionals on business and human rights. The Danish Institute for Human Rights will present and facilitate the sessions.

Session objectives
Investors will be better able to understand and apply existing standards, tools and resources on business and human rights in their investments.

Target audience
The training is aimed at ESG Professionals and in particular those who have already worked with the agenda in an investment context but would like to brush up on human rights substance and process standards and to be better able to operationalise them in their day-to-day work.
